we allow short project links, so writing in search line, or creating IL in the form [[:v:something]] is equivalent to [[:wikiversity:something]].
it is also possible to create such cross-language links.
however, it seems that the wikiversity short link only works locally.

REPRODUCTION:

• go to polish wikipedia
• in search line type :n:en:
• as expected, you land on english wikinews
• return to polish wikipedia
• in search line, type :wikiversity:en:
• as expected, you land on english wikiversity
• repurn to plwiki
• in search line, type :v:en:
• NOT as expected, you land on polish wikiversity (no such project, but you get the pl-wikiversity site)
