This has be alarming all weekend. We have an interface on fpc2 that is up but has no description. Can some please see what server is connected to xe-2/0/40 (asw2-a2-eqaid).

I used that opportunity to have LibreNMS open task for this kind of alert automatically instead of sending emails:

Unfortunately it's not yet possible to set it with the matching ops-$dc tag yet.
Note that this alert only triggers after 7 days of the port being in that state, to prevent new servers being racked to alert before their switch port is configured.
This can obviously be tuned to match your needs.
