Sometimes there's a 502 (T300525 ?) but usually it times out without one. And sometimes it works but takes >20 seconds.
What should have happened instead?:

On a cold cache that URL every time loaded in less than 3 seconds here. Cannot reproduce a problem.
It's one and a half days later, it got better. Only the API was slow, regular pages were fine. I know the API is on a different server or something, so there must have been an issue with that. I'll just close this, if somebody wants to search the logs for anomalies (who has the time?) they can reopen the task.
