Can't copy last citation of paragraph in Firefox

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

What happens?:
The last reference does not get copied. If there are multiple references at the end of a paragraph, only the last one stays behind.

What should have happened instead?:
Reference should have been copied

Software version (skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):

Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):
Firefox (103.0 now, but have had this for ages). I can't reproduce the error in Edge. Can reproduce on test2.wikipedia.org in Firefox.

This no longer seems to be an issue with Firefox 128.0 and the current version of the Wikimedia software 🎉. Tested on two computers without problems.

And it's back (has been for a while). The issue is also present when you try to copy over citations after bullet points. A possibly related point: when you click right of the last citation in a paragraph to add the next sentence, that doesn't work allow you to start typing. First you have to press the right arrow two times. The first right arrow will select the reference, and the second will go right of the reference.
