Steps to replicate the issue
- Go to https://donate.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page or https://donate.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page or https://thankyou.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
- In the footer, click "mobile view", which will take you to https://donate.m.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Main_Page&mobileaction=toggle_view_mobile or https://donate.m.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Main_Page&mobileaction=toggle_view_mobile or https://thankyou.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Main_Page&mobileaction=toggle_view_mobile respectively.
What happens?:
- The domains fail to resolve
What should have happened instead?:
- The domain resolves to a mobile version of the site, OR the link isn't present at all
Optionally, the main domain could also serve mobile content.
Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):
Firefox. Mobile browsers don't get redirected to the nonexistent domain, but instead are served the desktop site, which is fine. The actual donate and thank you pages don't have the same footer, so this isn't an issue there, only for the more internal pages.
