@jcrespo I think this is blocked on T319383: Mydumper incompatibility with MariaDB 10.6 (was: Logical recoveries (myloader) to db2098:s7 are failing with "Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction") as db1117 and db2078 are used to take logical backups, right?

I would say so- up to you, but I cannot reliably recover a 10.6 host at the moment.

Migrated db1117 (misc backup source to 10.6). So far it looks like it is being detected fine by haproxy.
To be sure, I will also add the future master (T331877) as standby for a few hours to make sure it is seen just fine too.
