Currently wscontest tool calculates points by adding 3 points per proofreading and 1 point per validations .

It would be more helpful if these points can be customized manually by contest admins. This is because different communities have different needs and strategies for their competitions. Some communities like Bengali do not count validations in the competition, so validation point = 0 would be preferable. Also if a community wants only validation contest, proofread points would not be useful for them.
