Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Scroll down (only mouse scrolling triggered it for me, and even then not every time, but PgUp/Down and Arrow keys do not trigger it) to heading "Leopard 2A5" on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leopard_2
  • Need not be logged in
  • Does not seem to occur in dark mode if logged in

What happens?:

  • At some point the text becomes slightly thicker.
  • Scrolling up will fix it, though not at the same point it was triggered. Moving the mouse to my other screen also fixes it.
  • Both my monitors (different resolutions) see it, and resized (smaller) windows do as well.

What should have happened instead?:

  • The text should not become slightly thicker.

Software version (skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):

Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):
Chrome 109.0.5414.75 on Windows 10 Pro with Nvidia graphics, both incognito and logged in. Firefox does not seem to be affected, Edge is, so presumably it's Chromium-related.

Not normal:

This seemingly occurred after the introduction of the new Vector 2022 design, though I can't be sure.
