Page tagline misaligned at ro.wikipedia.org
Closed, InvalidPublicBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
Compare an article from ro.wikipedia.org (https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C4%83m%C3%A2nt) with one from another Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth) while logged-out

What happens?:
The tagline of the article ("De la Wikipedia, enciclopedia liberă") is a little misaligned compared with the tagline from en.wikipedia.org ("From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia"):

What should have happened instead?:
The ro.wikipedia.org's tagline should be properly aligned

Software version (skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):

Event Timeline

As I remember from a previous discussion, the vertical space was caused by the FA icon, which is placed slightly different on rowiki and enwiki. Does the problem persist on an article without icons?

Going to https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_art?safemode=1 and manually disabling display: none for #siteSub, I cannot reproduce the problem:

Also note the custom on-wiki CSS at https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Common.css#L-1280 . Are you sure this is an upstream code problem?

@FonAfon: Could you please answer the last comment? Thanks in advance!

I think you just need to change display: inline to display: block in Common.css (where @Aklapper linked), if you want to achieve the same look as English Wikipedia.

Closing per last comment as this seems to be an on-wiki content issue.
