Inconsistent search results for same term across de/en/fr Wikipedias

Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Enter "Moritz M. Daffinger" in the search mask of a) English, b) German, c) French Wikipedia
  • Click "search".

What happens?:

  • In English Wikipedia, a list of articles appears, most of them mentioning the intended target [[:en:Moritz Michael Daffinger]], but this article in itself is not included in the search results.
  • In German Wikipedia, likewise the list of articles does not include [[:de:Moritz Daffinger]].
  • In French Wikipedia, [[:fr:Moritz Michael Daffinger]] is on top of the search list, as supposed.

What should have happened instead?:
The search result list should always list the article about "Moritz Michael Daffinger" resp. "Moritz Daffinger" as the first search result.

Searching for "Moritz M. Daffinger" does not yield the expected page in english and german wikipedias because the term "M" is not part of page text of en:Moritz_Michael_Daffinger nor de:Moritz_Daffinger.
CirrusSearch is configured in such a way that it requires all the query terms to appear in the page for it to be found.
For french the reason it is found is that the term "m" alone is considered a stop word and thus not required.

I'm going to close this ticket as a duplicate of T343148 because they share the same root cause but more practically and for this case specificatlly it sounds to me that an on wiki solution might be appropriate by creating a redirect [[Moritz M. Daffinger]] pointing to the right page.
