I've set $wgReadOnly, after this I upgraded 1.17.0 -> 1.18.0 and removed $wgReadOnly. But after this it nevertheless says "Warning: The database has been locked for maintenance, so you will not be able to save your edits right now." How to unlock it back?

I'm not not sure. Was it a real bug or I just mixed up two different servers.
Anyway, now it seems to work again.
