Articles with unreviewed templates in them show no link to the unreviewed template to reviewers
Closed, InvalidPublicBUG REPORT

Description

The problem is discussed here in de.Wikipedia:
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilfe_Diskussion:Gesichtete_Versionen#%E2%80%9EVorlagen-_und_Datei%C3%A4nderungen_dieser_Version_sind_noch_nicht_gesichtet%E2%80%9C

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

What happens?:
The diff shows no difference: German message "(kein Unterschied)"

What should have happened instead?:
There should be a link to the unreviewed template for reviewers.

Other information :
Other users report that the missing link had been there for many years in the past. It appears that a recent change in the FlaggedRevs extension removed the link.

Event Timeline

Well, the core problem is a bit different.

  • The article which transludes the modified template (Inverted Coaster) does not mention which media files or templates are causing the problem.
  • Until mid of 2023 there appeared a link to Template:Navigationsleiste Achterbahntypen which tells precisely where to remedy the problem.
  • If there are 100 templates and files in this page, you wilkl have a nice time to explore the responsible page.

The (kein Unterschied) is not really important. It does not matter whether any difference will result. By vandalism and reverting by a new user this may happen easily.

The links are there, it’s just your Common.css that hides them – editors (aktive Sichter) have these links in the review box, and everything but the buttons is hidden by Common.css. Try it in safe mode: the link appears. (Non-editors have the links displayed somewhere else, so they – including anons – see them without safe mode.)
