Many issues related to the math rendering functionality are difficult to understand, as users can not see the intermediate steps, such as checking chemical preprocessing, etc. On the other hand, many mathematicians are familiar with the details of TeX latex and would thus be able to better describe the problem, if they were able to access intermediate LaTeX strings.
