Event Metrics has been running on VPS for years. We only ever used tools-db because that was the only option at the time. Today, we should be using Trove to keep the db in the same ecosystem as the tool itself.

This in turn invalidates the need for T319779: Migrate grantmetrics from Toolforge GridEngine to Toolforge Kubernetes since we won't be using Toolforge at all anymore. We may soon not need our own backup script, anyway. The Trove help page suggests it may receive auto-backup features, following T276961.
