Create elasticsearch cluster-specific cumin aliases
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Each Elasticsearch server hosts 2 or more of the Elastic clusters (named 'chi', 'omega', and 'psi').

We recently had an outage that involved only a single cluster . While I was able to quickly assemble an inventory of omega cluster hosts using ansible , it's preferable to have something ready on the cumin hosts.

Creating this ticket to add cluster-specific cumin aliases for production Elastic environments:

  • eqiad
  • codfw
