Nuke doesn't delete anything but files
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Hi. When I try to delete multiple pages created by a user, it deletes only files, but pages in the main namespace are claimed to be queued for deletion, but aren't deleted eventually. I tried to specify the namespace of what to delete, but it didn't help, as well as trying to delete one page through the nuke tool, that page was queued, but not deleted. Can you please figure this out?

Check the Job queue manual page to see how the queue works. You may need to run runJobs.php to speed up the process of deleting pages

I can't run anything, my wiki is on Miraheze, a wikifarm, I have no access to my wikis files. And I doubt that all these queued tasks are supposed to be performed after 2 days after the initial launch, especially if it got the job down really quickly previous times. I've used this tool before, and I figured out about this queue thing only now. Something has changed, and maybe I've done something wrong on the wiki, I don't know what.I want to figure that out. I need to understand what is the problem and what should I do.

I have no idea about this. If you know a place, where I can check it, I will find and give this information.

You should file a bug on Miraheze's tracking system, since this may be a problem on their infrastructure: https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Phorge

Nuke works on other instances.

(Miraheze Volunteer, Non-SRE) if this relys on the Job Queue it makes sense it's not functioning, Miraheze is recently moved it's jobrunner to Kafka from Redis and it's causing a few issue we are still working out(ie delayed notification) I'll see if there's anything we can do if we have time. Thanks Ciencia for pointing that out
