Create project tag for toolforge_i18n
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Name of the project tag:
toolforge_i18n

Type of project:
Component makes the most sense, I think?

Description (read the best practices and include a sentence understandable to the public and without "This project is for tracking work related to..." noise, plus a link to further information!):
A library for making Toolforge tools written in Python translatable.

Canonical code repository URL of the project (if this project has a code base):
https://gitlab.wikimedia.org/lucaswerkmeister/toolforge_i18n/

View policy of the project itself:
Public (default)

The library is a work in progress (previously: T363626, T283376), but I think we’ll want a Phabricator tag for it sooner or later, and it would be useful for me to have it created already so I can link to it from the library.

Event Timeline

I’d also be fine with slight variations on the name if we think toolforge_i18n is too ambiguous or potentially misleading (the tag is not for I18n of Toolforge in general, after all), e.g. Python-toolforge_i18n or toolforge_i18n-library.

Requested public project toolforge_i18n has been created: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/view/7218/

(In case you need to edit the project or project workboard itself at some point and lack permissions, please see Trusted-Contributors.)

Interested people are welcome to join the project as members, and to watch the project in order to receive notifications on task updates.

If tasks are created under this new project which are about a specific codebase, please make sure to also add these codebase project tags to the tasks in addition.
