@IN You don't need to create a task for every single project that you visit. T287362: General site outage caused by ruwikinews usage of DPL: "upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: overflow" is the over arching task for the incident.
I'm closing this as a duplicate to T287362: General site outage caused by ruwikinews usage of DPL: "upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: overflow" as it's likely related to that, as it is now working.
@IN Comments like that and +1 style comments don't help, Please try to leave only constructive comments that help a task. As comments can generate a lot of emails to users.

I thought I had seen this task before, Found it T281430: Archive Jade extension
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/JADE/+/663907 talked about "archiving" that repository but no sign of that at https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/g/mediawiki/extensions/Jade
Can you provide the descriptions that you want uploaded with each file?

@MediaJS If you just want to be notified on new tasks for those projects, I would recommend watching those projects as a trial first, before looking at heralds.

Personally I would prefer a person create a task with no tags (which alerts on IRC), than to randomly use a tag so they can hit submit which can trigger a lot of email notifications depending on what tag they choose to use.

Perhaps add some messaging on the wmflabs pages? I wouldn't be surprised if its linked to from a lot of places

@Nikerabbit from memory that used to happen from editing task descriptions, but i thought that got fixed upstream...

@Goryeo It will be uploaded when someone is available, You don't need to randomly subscribe people to the task.

@Cervisiarius Are you West1 on Wikitech? If so I would consider linking your Wikitech LDAP account to your Phabicator account via https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/external/ in the "Add external account" section.
