We don't want to keep maintaining Archiva, but we want to keep access to historical releases. Archiva stores the whole structure of Maven repositories on disk (/var/lib/archiva/repositories), so it should be easy to expose it through a simple web server (Apache, nginx, ...) and remove Archiva from the equation.
