Description

This is a tracking task to outline changes to paging routing for on-call rotation during specific holidays, as outlined in https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/SRE/Oncall. For these instances, the batphone will be preferred. Notices will be sent to internal mailing lists beforehand. Holidays will designate which region/rotation is impacted *US\Americas* or *EMEA*.

  • Thursday, July 4 Fourth of July US/Americas
  • Friday, July 5 U.S. July Holiday US/Americas
  • Friday, August 9 International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples Global
  • Monday, September 2 Labor Day US/Americas
  • Monday, October 14 Indigenous Peoples' Day (also Columbus Day) US/Americas
  • Monday, November 11 Veterans' Day US/Americas
  • Thursday, November 28 Thanksgiving US/Americas
  • Friday, November 29 Day after Thanksgiving US/Americas
  • 24 to 31 December 2024: Year-End Global Holiday Global
  • Wednesday, January 1 New Year's Day Global
  • Monday, January 20 Martin Luther King Jr Day / Inauguration Day US/Americas
  • Monday, February 17 U.S. Presidents' Day US/Americas & Post Summit Recovery EMEA
