{{dead link}} “eaten” by directly preceding bare external link in Parsoid
Closed, DuplicatePublicBUG REPORT

Description

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open https://hu.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Allianz&oldid=27289363&useparsoid=0#Források.
  2. Notice that there are quite a few dead links (all bare links), marked with the {{halott link}} template, which displays as [halott link].
  3. Switch to https://hu.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Allianz&oldid=27289363&useparsoid=1#Források.

Actual result

  1. The dead link templates are “eaten” by the links preceding them: the template doesn’t appear at all, and %5B%5D gets appended to both the text and the target of the link.

Expected result

  1. The links appear the same way as in the legacy parser.

Other information

The bug affects VisualEditor as well, not only read views. Fortunately the wikitext haven’t got corrupted as I moved the links around (it’s Visual edit: Switched only because VE left behind an empty bullet point and a blank line directly below a section header, which I found easier to fix in wikitext), but I was unable to see or edit the templates.
