Description

The nova-fullstack daemon modules/openstack/files/nova/fullstack/nova_fullstack_test.py lacks support for IPv6, for example:

  • checking AAAA/PTR records
  • checking fixed IPv6 for a VM
  • etc

This is now mostly ready to deploy. There is a new --ipv6 option that the daemon accepts that will trigger IPv6 DNS checks. It should be enabled in codfw1dev but left disabled in eqiad1 for now.

This is ready. IPv6 support has been activated in codfw1dev. Support for eqiad1 is just a boolean away, when we deploy IPv6 for real there.
