[[Special:Recentchangeslinked]] incorrectly shows edits as new
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: gangleri

Description:
Hallo!

[[Special recentchanges/foo]] shows [[MediaWiki:Newpageletter]] at every entry.
Propbably it should be displayed only at the first revision of the page.

See:
http://test.leuksman.com/index.php/Special:Recentchangeslinked/Template_talk:Wikify

Regards Reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]

compare with
bug 2407: marking as "patrolled edit" should be available at
[Special:Contributions/foo]] etc.

  • Bug 2233 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***

Two parts of this problem:
First, the page_is_new value was being set backwards. (whoops!) This caused pages to be
marked as new _after_ having been edited a second time instead of _only until_ then.

Second, the display of multiple revisions meant that the bogus page_is_new marking got
displayed for every revision of the page that turned up in the list (since there is no
new marking on each revision, the page's value is used).

Note that once a second edit has been made, no revision of that page will be marked new
in Special:Recentchangeslinked.
