Newer edit link on last diff goes to bogus diff

Description:
When paging through diffs, the "Newer edit" link on the last diff goes to a
bogus empty diff. --[[User:CesarB|cesarb]] 28 June 2005 14:11 (UTC)

The same happens to me. When I try to rollback a vandalism, it says "Rollback
failed", then when I try the diff of the latest version in the history (the
latest version being the vandalism), it claims there is a newer edit, but the
newer edit is a bogus ghost edit, claimed to be by the same vandal. I am then
unable to rollback anything.

Also the history page does not default to the diff betwee the current version
and the one before that. Instead it defaults to a diff between the current
version and the current version (being the bogus diff described above)

See the fixed bug 2627.
