Description

An error is currently displayed for the following fr.planet.wikimedia.org feeds:

Venus planet software doesn't attempt to encode URLs or considers them to be ASCII.

This syntax worked well with old software.

I'm reporting upstream the bug and submitting a patch.

Meanwhile, I'll fix the URLs in the feed using proper é UTF-8 encoding (%C3%A9).

This bug will track progress.

• bzimport added a subscriber: Unknown Object (MLST).

Current fr.planet.wikimedia.org situation fixed in Gerrit change 47047.

since we have a partial fix and an upstream bug do we want to keep it open here as well? what's the usual procedure if bugs turn into upstream bugs?

Setting to low priority until upstream is resolved.

The upstream seems pretty abandoned....
Last change was in feb 2011.
