Show size of new pages in recent changes

Description:
Could there be an option enabled in the User preferences to display the size of newpages in Special:Recentchanges? The size is already
defined in Special:Newpages, but it'd be useful in recentchanges as well. This would be especially helpful in newer wikis which do not get
as many edits as larger ones do, and thus have little need to be checking both Newpages and Recentchanges.

Not as widely relevant, but still something I'd like: the ability to have the whole line of a new page in recent changes displayed red.
Apparently this is currently impossible because "the 'newpage' is the only distinguishing part of the line, and it only wraps the letter N:
<span class="newpage">N</span>".

Hmm. That didn't show up in the search because I was looking for newpages. While size of changes in articles is a good idea, I'm
only interested in newpages at the moment. :]

Fixed with r18237 (bug 1085).
