Capiunto should allow infoboxes with multiple columns
Open, MediumPublic

Description

(Mostly copied from https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension_talk:Capiunto)

On enwiki we have Template:Infobox3cols, which makes it possible to specify one label and two or three data cells on each row. This is used in quite a few sports-related infoboxes for career statistics, e.g. Template:Infobox AFL biography. Infobox3cols has about 150,000 transclusions on enwiki at the moment. Would it be possible to add support for multiple columns so that infoboxes that use infobox3cols can be converted to Capiunto easily?

Given that we have one big table here, this isn't trivial... we could add a sub table as data field in case we need more than one cell, though. That's not nice (at all), but might work.

I don't see why it would need a sub-table—it looks like it just adds another <td> element
