bug 7520 isn't exactly a duplicate of this bug. The statistics updates normally
if a page imported with no categories and no wiki-links receive a edit, but in
the case detailed on bug 7520 the site statistics isn't updated.
There's no difference between bug 7520 and this; in the case where the page
had no links it would not have counted in the good article count until you
added the links later (at which point the count would be increased). If it
had already included some links, then the next edit would not see a need to
increment the count.
In either case, the total pages count would not have been updated properly.
Fixed in r16881.
