If I have [[Template:Foo]] and in this template I have a parameter ({{{bar}}}) that I'm deprecating, it would be nice to have documentation on how to use template-foo to transclude [[Category:Pages using deprecated bar parameter in template:foo]] on pages that directly transclude {{Foo|bar=baz}}.

Where exactly would you expect to find such documentation?

I'm thinking MW:Help:Templates, MW:Help:Transclusion, or the page on MW wiki that explains what/how <includeonly>,<onlyinclude>, and <noinclude> are for/used. I remember seeing it as being possible using a clever combination of those include tags, HTML comments, and/or <nowiki> tags but I don't remember exactly how or where I saw it.
