In the version 1.24.1 of MediaWiki i found no way to disable the limit report on the preview page, even if $wgEnableParserLimitReporting is set to false. If i remove line:
$parserOptions->enableLimitReport();
in file includes/EditPage.php the limit report is only displayed, if $wgEnableParserLimitReporting is true.
@Efellows is this still an issue with newer version of MediaWiki? If not, we should probably decline this task - I'm sorry it wasn't addressed earlier, but by now 1.24 is no longer supported
