Special:Wantedpages messed up on English Wikisource
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

On the English Wikisource, the Special:Wantedpages has an improper display. It displays
striked-out items and items which have always existed (and hence, never were "wanted" to
begin with). It's been like this for quite some time: pretty much after we got the
new "Author" and "Portal" namespaces. No amount of purging the database will fix this
problem, either.

Old pagelinks entries for the old titles haven't been removed, so they end up creeping into the wanted pages reports.

That feature of refreshLinks is currently disabled as the original implementation makes a very large, slow
transaction which borks up replication. Will fiddle with this a bit...

There is a problem in Thai Wikipedia too. Many pages in project namespace show up with striked-out.

WantedPages data is stale, but it is displaying the stale data correctly.
