Hello! Sorry for the late answer again. I plan to move project to phabricator as I feel here the extension would get more attention and from more involved people.
Also, i've drafted a Wiki homepage for my Extension by shamelessly copying Gilles's page:

As for the development, i plan to work on it again soon(tm), the faster i can transfer it to phabricator the more incentive I have. I feel like there's no use in half-completed project

Yes it is still valid. I would like to take my project to a completion and a phabricator project would only incentivize me more.
As for the status, I have been out of it since probably the mid of June, but i now have more time to _work on it.

It was because of tasks like you mentioned that i started developing the extension. After consulting MarkTraceur from WMF, i began creating the extension for .STL-format 3D files. In the middle of April i learnt that Gilles has also started to create this type of extension. I have contated Gilles and after he returns from vacation, i will be looking into possibilities regarding collaboration.
