This feature is unlikely to be implemented at all. The team will not be changing the Wikipedia app to an app that basically allows one to edit all wikis, also noting that this is also out of scope for the app itself anyway.

I can confirm this bug on enwiki, but also saw the error while checking notifications on the Android app so this error should be widespread.

For some reason this task was never implemented at all. Given that it is uncontroversial and the hewiki objection mention above feels that this needs attention from the wider community. I have started a RfC on Meta concerning the change here

This task is exactly similar to T235363, as the "repeating characters" is both a user and software (used in abuse filter so extension) defined tag. This task is furthermore obsolete because "repeating characters" was removed as an option for users and bots to use due to repeated (mis/ab)use of this and other tags in the past.

The same, keep getting logged out. I virtually have to login every day, and even with the "keep me logged in" checkbox ticked, I keep getting logged out once I close the browser.

UPDATE: This bug doesn't affect thank notifications, but user page edits.

Clearing cookies on meta.wikimedia.org fixes the issue. Never mind.
