When WikiEditor loads a large wiki table in Google Chrome, the editor slows down considerably, even on a fast desktop workstation. Each keystroke takes about 1.5 seconds to complete. To reproduce this problem: # Visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sandbox using Google Chrome on Windows 7 Professional (or possibly other operating systems, I didn't check). # Edit the page using WikiEditor. # Copy and paste the wikitext from the attached file into WikiEditor. # Further edit operations should be very slow. For example, place your cursor into the edit box and type something like "asdf". The characters should appear very sluggishly.
