#event_metrics has been running on VPS for years. We only ever used tools-db because that was the only option at the time. Today, we should be using [[ https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Trove_database_user_guide | Trove ]] to keep the db in the same ecosystem as the tool itself. This in turn will solve {T319779} as we won't rely on Toolforge at all anymore.
