SVT Öppet Archive is closing down end januari 2021. The new platform SVTplay miss structure for artists etc... we need to sit down with SVT and find out if we can do something together

• we have a new Wikidata property ready for creation see SVTplay_identifier ==> we need to
• clean sv:Wikipedia from links directions SVT Öppen data = 424 links and one template used on 125 pages
• see if we can have a better solution doing co-creation Wikidata/Wikipedia with SVT. I will try to speak with Anders Jöfelt --> we better connect SVT and Wikidata/Wikipedia example Wikidata query latest person passed away represented in SVT Öppet Archive
  • One possibility is having SVT programs in Wikidata see POC
    • get CC-0 program info from SVT see Wikidata:Licensing
    • get SVT add Wikidata unique artists numbers i,e, Qnumber --> easier Wikidata reconciliation and also possibility for SVT to link Wikipedia compare MOMA
    • set up synch SVT <-> WD compare Nobelprize
    • Open Questions:
      • is the SVTPlay programid persistent? should we have a Wikidata property for it see Wikidata:Property proposal/SVTplay identifier
      • SVT vision of knowledge graphs and external links

• 2021 we had >22 million page views on Wikipedia articles about Swedish programs

• Looks like we miss a SVTplay API with a license statement see Wikidata:Licensing
  • did a Notebook test on an unofficial API

• looks this API had 6451 numbers of participants that we could have as objects in Wikidata eg. Ulla Rohde is Wikidata Q16596183

• We will try to add a property for SVTplay see Wikidata:Property proposal/SVTplay identifier

• small test see if we can change approach and instead of linking "categories in SVT Öppet archive" have all programs and artists in Wikidata see blog
