Add mask-icon to Wikidata
Open, LowestPublic

Description

Safari 9 was just released. It contains a new option to pin websites. At the moment, it displays a W on a blue background for Wikidata. It is possible to specify a other icon, see the following instructions:

https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/AppleApplications/Reference/SafariWebContent/pinnedTabs/pinnedTabs.html

The downside is that it will only be possible to fill the icon with one color. What color describes our project the most?

I believe Wikidata does not have to support this when Wikipedia does not have it either. And I really do not want our HTML to contain possibly dozens of vendor specific favicon alternatives. Not saying we will never do this. This seems to be a nice resource: http://realfavicongenerator.net.
