Description

Play with Phabricator and use it as a test case for alternative management models to standard LCA practices when working with Quim.

First cases; November/December:

  1. Jan keeps Quim in the loop over developments over the risk protocols, especially in the case of China, if something significant/relevant comes up.
  2. Jan digs into his Japanese contact archives to see whether volunteers on the ground there would be interested in getting involved into the broader volunteer/academic institutional/Wikimedia (Mediawiki) frames.

Hi @JanWMF!

The idea would be to create tasks for our topics of discussion that can associated to a specific goal, to something that we know when we have completed it or given up.

For instance, propose/support the Wikimedia Japan community to organize a presentation together with a Google Developer Group in the context of (as a subtask of) T925: Connect Wikimedia groups, Google Developer Groups, and computer science university departments.

Sure, strikes me as a sensible test, Quim. How about opening three tasks with concrete time windows: Japan (already dispatched) until 12/15; China (under preparation) until 01/15, and Russia (under preparation) until 01/31? I can walk you through the status o those three next week and if you like the different approaches, we can add them.

This task as such is invalid anyway. @JanWMF, let's create our tasks in our next meeting. Looking forward. :)
