Description:
Whenever I look at articles on the English wikipedia, the images are displaced a few centimeters above where they are supposed to be. I can drag the images down with the mouse and they will remain in their "proper" position, but I don't want to drag every image on every image and looking at displaced images has become annoying. Not all images are affected, though. Images in infoboxes and on the main page, for example, are not affected by this odd phenomenon. The images are displaced on both my DellPC/LINUX-Ubuntu/Firefox 2.0.0.4 setup and my AcerLaptop/XP/Firefox 2.0.0.4 setup. The image displacement only happens on the English wikipedia site. It does not happen on the other pedias and it does not happen on other non-wikimedia sites. The images do not become properly placed if I "refresh" the page. I have reinstalled various version of Firefox over the last few months and the problem has persisted. I have included a screenshot in the URL box above to show you what a page looks like. The code for that page, as it appears when I ask for it, is at my userpage (Awadewit) under "Notes to self." Someone on the tech IRC channel suggested that I submit this report; they could not fix it.
