Hi @eliza,

To address things to ops, you need to associate the Operations project. Otherwise your task is just left in Phabricator without necessarily being found by ops.

Hello Krenair - unfortunately I am uncertain how to do this...can you guide me?

eliza set Security to None.

You can click 'Edit task' near the top right hand corner, and it will give you a page like the task creation form. Click in the projects input, begin to type 'operations' and the operations suggestion option will appear. Select it, and submit the save form.

One other request from user is that she would like this to be an urgent request.
Updated the priority on this.
Thank you,

Resetting priority to default. If you think there is some urgency compared to other high priority tasks on the plate of Operations, feel free to elaborate why you think so. Thanks!

So this is https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/User:SLien_%28WMF%29 it seems. I wonder if we are expected to somehow confirm this before changing access to Jimmy's mail, but i wouldn't know how.

Maybe the jimmy@ alias can be moved over to Google and OIT ? @cajoel

Hello Everyone,

I'm also hesitant on doing this at the moment - due to the Wikipedia 15 celebrations. But will suggest with Caitln to do this afterwards if that works for everyone.

@eliza thanks, that sounds good

To clarify (as I realize I might not have been clear)

I'll inquire w/Caitlin about converting jimmy@ to a Google Group after the Wikimedia 15 project, but in the meantime - adding slien@wikimedia.org to jimmy@'s alias is needed.

Adding myself as a subscriber. Please give Sam access to the alias ASAP.

I'm happy to talk with Ops/OIT about a better way to handle this alias in the future. Anyone interested can schedule time with me starting the week of Jan. 25.

Hi there,

Looks like a Google Group has been created for this.
Samantha will now be receiving messages as well.

Ops -you could close this ticket.

Thank you,
Eliza

Hello Ops

Take that back.
The exim alias for jimmy@ needs to be removed.
Please do not close until this has been done.
