Wording of some error messages on Special:AboutTopic is too technical
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I don't think many people would quite understand stuff like "serialization" and "configured id builders".

also the error is not differentiated, style-wise, from the other stuff on the special page. I think we have ways in a special page to format an error.

The serialization "Italy" is not recognized by the configured id builders

This special page generates a content page about a certain topic with Wikidata information

Enter an entity id to get an auto-generated article placeholder.

The first message in question

The serialization "Italy" is not recognized by the configured id builders

is part of Wikibase, not the ArticlePlaceholder. But I do agree that it's too technical anyway.
https://github.com/wmde/WikibaseDataModel/blob/master/src/Entity/DispatchingEntityIdParser.php
It should be differentiated though.

First part is done but the message is still too technical.
