Demos is totally broken; files not present in the rsync?

Description

https://doc.wikimedia.org/oojs-ui/master/demos/ should work but fails because https://doc.wikimedia.org/oojs-ui/master/demos/dist/ is 404. Is the rsync broken?

As reported by @Volker_E; I tried to fix this but just turned the build process into an infinite loop.
