Go over prose and user flow in Discernatron and make improvements to it
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The prose (or lack thereof) in Discernatron may confuse users which will materially affect the results and success of the project. We should go over the user flow and improve (or add!) the prose so that users are clear what is going on.

Event Timeline

I copied the text from the 3 main pages of Discernatron to a wiki page and made some edits.

I looked for opportunities to simplify language and re-word the introduction. I also left a few small notes on the talk page.

I don't think it's done, but I'm comfortable sharing with others for feedback. Please edit the page or leave a note on the talk page.

I made some comments on the talk page and edits on the main page. Hope they are helpful.

I've updated the copy on discernatron to match the text page, please check and advise.

HI @CKoerner_WMF - can you verify everything is fine? :)

Thanks!

One apparent typo I noticed:

... the top of results page is limited in space

should be the or a results page:

... the top of the results page is limited in space

Beside the type Trey points out it looks good to me.

Fixed the typo, also made the example colors on the instructions page not take the full width of the screen.

We had a meeting this morning to go over the upcoming demo / luncheon and created a couple more tickets to address ideas from that meeting: front-end and back-end.
