Cache wasn't purged on template after vandalism
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Following an email to info-en (Ticket#2016071710002503) it was brought to my attention that the sentence Sex xxxx kondam chud land sunny leon kotha was located at the top of the article. I had never visited the article before, and I use English as a language interface and use Vector. Appearently this was due to vandalism in Template:Sustainable energy from 3 day ago which has been reverted within one minute. Still this was lingering in the cache of the article, and I had to do a manual purge. Maybe the cache should be automaticly purged following a revert.

The page was reparsed but the parser got stale wikitext from the database?

Regression(?) due to T92357: Fix database master queries from HTTP GET/HEAD before active-active multi-dc?

Probably not due to ticket 92357, but sounds like a race condition indeed. Closing for now as there is no diagnostic information available to help here. If a similar issue is seen again, it should be reported as a new task and we could investigate then.
