After a discussion with Maria on internships it's becoming clearer to me that we don't need to be part of the official internship program, which comes with constraints that wouldn't work well for Research. I think we can get along with the collaborator / contractor / fellow categories as long as we document them for the benefit of HR and our external stakeholders.
