Description:
Is it possible to add a link next to the current "Create account / sign in" notice, which says "secure login", and links to the secure Wikimedia domain for that language and project?

You can create/modify [[MediaWiki:Loginend]] and add a link to the secure login.

Closing this bug as LATER when more (a lot more) servers are available for a more prominent/generic link to the secure login.

Reopening since we now serve https from the main domains.

Note that what we *don't* have is a standard link (or better yet, forced redirect) to SSL when logging in.

Some of our wikis have added custom SSL links on the login page, but not all of them -- eg https://fr.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?title=Sp%C3%A9cial:Connexion&returnto=Accueil shows no SSL link at present.

The link is mostly useless now, given that you only need to add an s to the URL.
