Nowiki added to links that use article title plus a suffix
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

If you type [[neutron]]s in wikicode, a link labelled "neutrons" (S included) will be created.
On that example using VE, a <nowiki/> has been added between the ]] and the final s. That may due to a wrong interpretation from Parsoid that believed it was like the wikitext but not but yes.

Initial report.

No.

If you write the equivalent of [[neutron]]s in VE, that is the wikitext you get from Parsoid. Specifically, that is <a href="neutron">neutrons</a>.

If you write instead <a href="neutron">neutron</a>s, Parsoid rescues you when changing it to wikitext by correctly putting a <nowiki /> there to stop it breaking.

So that's due to an incorrect copy/pasting?
