NewWikitextEditor not working on pages with <translate> tags

Description

Whenever I try to modify a page with NWE where <translate> tags are present I can't save the page. It keeps loading after I hit save forever.

I now see a notice when I open the page that says that editting pages with <translate> is not yet supported. Can that be added to the backlog of pending to-do's? Thanks.
