Description

Steps to reproduce:

Go to Visual Editor
Click on style text drop down menu
Choose bold
Type a line
Press the ENTER key on the keyboard
The style of the text goes back to normal i.e without any styling

Note: Might be not so feasible when user is trying to to write a paragraph that has a mix of styles e.g part in bold and part in italic.

Hmm. Can you give an example of software where this is used? Text styling is pretty uncommon in most text (certainly for Wikimedia uses), and continuing it over paragraph breaks is even less common.
