Description

Special:NewFiles in 1.29 doesn't have a search input field, just a lonely search button. As of now, this was reported by viewing Special:NewFiles on mediawiki.org that runs 1.29.0-wmf.10.

Turns out that all wikimedia wikis have $wgMiserMode set to true ($wgMiserMode = true;) which disables features like the search function in Special:NewFiles (HT @ashley!). I believe that when it's disabled and there's only filters left, the button should say "Apply filters and search" or "Apply filters".
